There’s no place like home. That’s certainly been the case for Breckenridge, as the Cowboys defeated Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton on Thursday, 84-65, improving to 9-3 and 8-1 at home.

Adam Ohm made seven 3’s for a game-high 21 points, Anthony Conzemius ripped down 17 rebounds, and Sebastian Anderson dished out five assists in a balanced Breckenridge effort. Cooper Yaggie was his usual self with another 20-point outing, adding four assists to his ledger.

Breckenridge honored its 13 seniors on Thursday prior to the game, as Coach Stevin Lipp took the microphone and lauded each individual for their unique contributions to the Cowboy program — players and managers.

The Rebels came out swinging and led for several minutes to start the game. Fan favorite Gus Hasbargen checked in and deposited a put-back layup that got the Cowboy Crazies roaring, Ohm followed that with a pair of threes to grab the lead at 18-16 with 9:50 remaining in the half. Ohm would hit four triples in the half as Breckenridge claimed a 35-33 advantage.

The Rebels were carried in the half by 6’6” sophomore Owen Leach and his 16 points. He showcased a nice inside-out game that kept Breckenridge on its toes.

Jonah Christensen got Breckenridge hyped in the second half with a big block, passing the ball up the floor to Yaggie for a three. Shortly after, Ohm pump faked Leach off his feet and side stepped into his fifth three of the game as Breckenridge took a 53-45 lead with 10 minutes remaining.

Adam Ohm made seven 3's for the second time this season in Breckenridge's Senior Night win.

Jacob Vizenor capped things off with seven points, going 3-for-3 from the field and drilling a corner three as the Cowboys cruised to an 84-65 victory. Breckenridge shot 62% from inside the arc and 44% from 3-PT range. DGF shot 44% from inside the arc and 35% from 3-PT range.
